I've eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. Â I called yesterday to see if they could possibly do a catering job for my workplace. Â Without hesitation, they said yes! Â We discussed how many people and what I wanted. Â I think I ordered pretty much every meat they offer. Â Wings, Ribs, Pork, Beef and Sausage. Â For sides we got mac n cheese, potato salad, green beans and corn on the cob. Â Several loaves of bread and a pan of banana pudding. Â Sweet and Unsweet tea and they provided all the plates, cups, silver, bbq sauce... everything that you would need.
I was a little worried because I had caught word that they guys weren't excited about my choice of restaurants this time. Â Much to my and their surprise, all I heard was praise! Â In fact, they all said... those other places are out, we want these guys for now on! Â
Not only was the food fantastic but it seems we had more than enough. Â I love their portions!!! Â Terry, the owner, delivered the food himself! Â Nice people!! Â We will definitely be back!!!
I travel through Baldwin about once every six weeks taking 301 to Ocala/I75. Â Always looking for a BBQ adventure so stopped this time to have lunch. Â Maybe I am just too picky but I swear the chopped pork in the sandwich was dry. Â Even covered with sauce it was dry. Â The pork was inside a toasted bread sandwich. Â The Mac & Cheese tasted like it came out of a Kraft ready to eat box. Â My son had the briskett which he said was just average. Â His green beans were a little greasy, too much time soaking in pig juice I suspect. Â More and more people will be taking 301 this way especially when 4 lane are completed (soon I hope). Â Just don't bother to be lured into this cute little place...I won't be back.
