Tremont 647

I love Tremont 647. It was my neighborhood place for many years and I still love going back. The pajama brunch is my favorite! They are constantly changing up the menu and everything I've ever had here has been great. Really great atmosphere, cozy, and friendly. In the warmer months they have sidewalk seating.

The few times I came here, you were pretty good, and I kept coming back, but not anymore. THANK YOU Tremont 647 for ruining my birthday dinner!!!

On my special day, the boyfriend had arranged a surprised birthday dinner. The drinks were ok and the appetizers were ok. It was the entrees which made me never want to come here again. Each entree was barely ok, if not terrible. The food was blackened (not in the good way) and barely warm. I was totally disappointed.

Also since it was a surprise, I got one cake from my boyfriend and another from my best friends. We were charged an extra few dollars ($2-3) surcharge per person for cake but that's understandable considering they have dessert there but we brought our own cake and used their utensils/plate service.

Overall, service was ok but the food was disappointing, ill think twice about returning.

As an avid restauranteur I can vouch the food to be sub-par and the drinks to be 'meh'. Nothing to boast about, yet.
