This place is mediocre on service, food, and staff. The bartender, was great and very attentive. The decor and design are amazing. This could be an outstanding establishment....but it just isn't. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone....at all.

My wife and I tried this restaurant recently and the first things that came to mind after leaving was "this is how you run a restaurant".  We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals from the make your own salad to the pasta dish we ordered.  Not only was the food excellent for the price but our waitress was extremely helpful giving us great recommendations on the menu and also telling us about all the upcoming events at the restaurant.  Not just our waitress but all the staff was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs.  The ambiance of the restaurant was also a plus and at no point did I feel crowded or in the way.  We will definitely be returning to The Turn in the near future.

Came here for my mom's birthday. I'd never been before and I had few preconceived notions about the place other than I'd heard they had good pizza. I was pleasantly surprised by the food.
Our party of 8 tried a variety of things and everyone actually seemed happy. Among the dishes I tried personally:
    -truffle fries - yes
-fillet - love the fig reduction
-caprese tower - kind of small for the price, but very fresh and tasty, no soggy tomatoes here
skewers - a little dry, but overall not bad

I do think that the place is kind of pricey for the area and for the size of *some* of the small plates. But the food seemed good quality and I hope to return once I get a job (stupid economy!) and can afford the place on my own.

Service was very friendly and helpful, though a bit distracted (but not in an abnormal way) . The music was pretty loud but they turned in down to something more conversation-friendly upon request.

Awesome place!  Roberto's Roll was unique and outstanding.  Craft brews on tap and great ambiance.

My wife and I went there about 2 months ago. I'm just getting around to this now.
-The valet told me "he didn't care if I parked it myself"
-The hostesses watch my wife and I stand in the doorway while they ate until I approached them and asked where I should go. I was then told "to find a seat"
-We sat at the bar which was sticky
-two of the chefs were at the bar cursing and doing shots in their chef coats. One of them actually pushed my wife aside to stand next to his friend as we ate.
-the food was so bad out of the 4 small plates we ordered the only thing we could stomach was the sliders. Everything else had a max of two bites taken out.
-3 servers and what looked to be a supervisor stood behind the bar and drank and cursed loudly at each other.
-the drinks were pretty good and the bartender was knowledgable.
-the place is beautiful, it's a shame that the management is so bad
I was very disappointed. I live down the street and my wife and I are early 30's. we go out to eat often and were exited to have a place so close. I would never, ever, ever go back there. I pray they close soon so someone else can reopen. I give it one star for the drinks. Everything else sucked. #fail

PS. My sister had lunch here and she said it was pretty good.

Overcooked, unseasoned...... gave us complimentary drinks when there was a slight mishap

Great place to meet and hang out for tapas or dinner.  Very friendly staff, service is good too.  We have tried many of the small plates and have nothing but good things to say.  Love the brick oven; makes it cozy. We tried Korean ribs which were good, truffle fries to die for, Kobe skewers were a bit rare for me but were good. I say give it a try!

I don't give 5 stars often....  but for lunch this place simply can't be beat. Went here for a business lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Honestly I don't know how someone could rate this  3 stars... not with the same food we had.

Ambiance is great... nicely updated and current restaurant with a beautiful full large bar, outdoor patio seating and a huge wood burning oven for fresh pizzas. The aroma of oak and hardwood tastefully wafts in you pallet from time to time but not enough to disturb your experience.

They have a large salad for $10 with 10 options. Each additional option (more than the 10) is $1 or $2 for proteins. There are 7 types of greens (romaine, arugula, spinach etc..) , 12 toppings (beats, sun dried tomatoes, olives, dried cranberries etc..) , 8 cheeses,  8 dressings, 5 proteins (shrimp, chicken, steak etc..) it's an amazing salad.  I had the lemon poppy dressing which was amazing. For those on a strict diet you may want to ask for dressing on the side since the dressed salad had a reasonable amount of dressing.

The pizza was exceptional and the crust the best I have ever had. The dough was fresh, crispy and moist with olive oil and butter.

Truffle fries were a nice touch. Lunch menu items were priced exceptionally well. I will return and report for dinner but all 8 of us had a great experience at this place.

The place is nice and the food is good. Service was good. Nothing was exceptional.
We had the Korean ribs very tasty fall off the bone a little salty, truffle fries (based on an earlier review we asked for them crispy) crispy and really good, Kobe skewers the meat needed  S&P but the bok choy it came with was the best thing we ate, Mac n Cheese with lobster it was OK a little bland and the Ahi tuna good nothing to rave about.
Everything needed seasoning except the rids and fries. We went on a Thursday night it wasn't that busy so the chef should have had adequate time to sprinkle a little salt n pepper. The waitress was very nice, service was good, again not great.
The 5 plates and 2 iced teas were $61. Would have been OK if the food was seasoned!
We will try it again to see if it was just an off night but honestly they can't afford to have an off night when the place is maybe 1/4 full.

Great food- go with the bacon wrapped surf n turf, the hummus and salsa, and the lobster crab cakes.
    A little pricey
For a new restaraunt seems like they are still working out a few kinks but overrall
    great food and  attentive service.

Whoever claims they spent 150 on 3 tapas and drinks........had a lot to drink. literally.
the cost of the tapas are around $10 each.

I gave this place a few chances to change my initial experience. The food and service  did not impress me at the least.

Only because I reserve a 5th star for something that blows me away.  This was a fantastic decision to come here.  My friends and I came for lunch on their opening day, when you'd figure everything would be hectic and out of place. Not at all; the service was attentive and everything was spot on.
The redesign of the place is beautifully done, with a great outside patio area to enjoy the weather.  We had several spot on dishes; bacon wrapped surf & turf, seared tuna. lobster and crab meat cakes.  Serving sizes were perfectly priced, and all the food was fresh; great job guys! They have a different and very exciting menu and I look forward to trying everything.
    I'll be back soon.
