Utopia Restaurant & Bar

Two nights ago, I had the pleasure of eating at Utopia Restaurant.  Someone had recommended to stop by there and try a selection from their menu.  First, I was impressed with the variety of  appetizers and platters on the menu but especially more because they offered Pho Specialty soups...one of my favorite Vietnamese meals.  I ordered the briskets and meatballs soup and it was sooooo delicious.  I often eat pho soup at Pho 79 but I must say this place has become my new favorite spot for Vietnamese pho soup.  

Regarding the staff, they were all friendly and made me feel very welcomed in their restaurant.  I was told by the waitress that they recently opened up and will be making a grand opening celebration next week.  They offer various entertainment such as live bands, karaoke, jazz and a salsa dance night.  She said they may also start bringing comedian acts for entertainment.  This was great to hear for the Newport News area as often times one must travel across the water to get some variety of entertainment.  I think Utopia restaurant will become the new happening spot real soon.  I highly recommend you check them out now before they get too busy and may have to wait long for a table. =)
