Vino Volo

I fly Virgin America for the planes but also because of they fly our of Terminal 2 at SFO (best terminal not only at SFO but one of the best across all airports). It's a neat set up (overpriced but what isn't at the airport) with a fairly good selection of wine and small plates. It's low-key (which I like) as I usuallly want to relax before getting on board my 5-6 hour flights to the east coast. Power outlets are available at most seats I believe which is reason enough to swing by.

I'm becoming a fan of these very quickly as I see them popping up in every terminal I have to visit.  The woman who was working here was quick and friendly, but wasn't annoying when she could see people were doing their own thing or just wanted to space out.  The wine is good, and yes, of course it's overpriced, it's the airport!  But, I really like that they give those little informational coasters.  Definitely hitting this place next time.

T2 in SFO is an amazing venue for this cool wine bar or bar a vins that serves modern bistro food in small plates to go with their good wine selection. I enjoyed lunch here with a sampler rose selection. Makes for civilized traveling
