Westside Tavern

Although no longer called the Westside Tavern, this place is a decent stop for lunch. In fact, my mother used to order food from here at least twice a week when she worked in town at the vet clinic.

This is a great place for a Hamburger Horse Shoe, but the real reason to try it is for a hand breaded pork chop. Just make sure to actually ask for a "hand breaded" one, or you will be disappointed.

We've found it best to always call in your order so you don't have to wait so long. The service can be slow... painfully slow. But this is small town USA, just 'politely" get someone's attention, and they will get you a refill.
