Willie's Sports Cafe

Willies is your average local sports bar. The food is decent and affordable. I only came for lunch but it seems like it would be a fun place to hang out for happy hour or to watch a game at. The service was good.

The best thing I saw about this place was the view of the city.

We went here because it was recommended by our hotel for late night food. What a disappointment. Lousy atmosphere and lousy food.  A noisy sports bar with not one healthy item on the menu and no local beers on tap. I must have heard the F-word 50 times during my 1 hour meal there. If you like a rowdy place with greasy bar food and Miller Lite on tap, this is your spot.

I've been eating at Willie's for years and the quality of service has steadily declined with each visit. The reason I come back, I guess, is the $5 shuttle bus for Bengals games. The wait staff is either over worked or they just don't care. On the latest visit, my wife received her food while I waited.. and waited .. and waited for mine. In fact, we had some friends join us for lunch 15 minutes after we ordered and they received their food while I still waited for my fish tacos. When the waitress finally returned to ask how our food was, I told her I still hadn't received mine, so she went back to the kitchen and sheepishly came back to tell me that my order had gone to another table and she'd put a rush order in on a replacement. I received my food while everyone else was finishing their meals, so I hurried to get done with mine so we could catch the shuttle bus. I'm giving two stars because the waitress took the cost of my meal off the bill. Food quality is also very good, if and when you receive your order. I just wish the wait staff would come by at least once to refill drinks.
