Way better than the other karaoke places around here as far as sound quality in the rooms and staff. Definitely recommend this  place if you have a party of friends who want to rent out a private room.

I've been here a lot, and when I say a lot I mean a LOT. This place has great prices for an amazing environment. Their rooms are always nice and clean and spacious. They have small room that fit about 9ish people and bigger rooms that can fit up to around 17. The sound quality is amazing in the rooms. I know I'm a horrible singer but I had no qualms about singing there because everything is set so your voice will sound 3-4 times better :D

There are a lot of Korean songs(it's a Korean Karaoke bar, what did you expect) but there is a huge selection of English songs. And unlike some karaoke places, the English selections their songs are very up to date! :D Personally, I love singing songs that are actually still playing in the clubs and on the radio :"P

Decor and tech are a little dated, but the yogurt soju alone is enough to carry this venue to greatness. Song selection includes Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Thai and English songs, so bring your polyglot friends. Cheap and great fun! Prompt service, as well.

Despite the no smoking sign, some sort of cloud descended out of the vents that smelled suspiciously of cigarettes and despair. It was time to get out.

Such a fun place to sing karaoke, and so cheap too!! I've been twice, once in a group of 8, and once in a group of 2. For some reason, when there were 8 of us, the charge was only $20/hr, but when it was 2, they charged us $30/hr. I guess that's just how their policy works, but even with that, it's still cheaper than most places in town. I'd recommend going with a larger group so you can all split the tab, and none of your wallets will be particularly hurting by the end of the night.

Their songs are pretty up to date, as mentioned in previous reviews. However, the sections are a little confusing. There are mostly Korean songs, then there's a decently-sized chunk of American songs in the middle. If you can't find the song you're looking for there, flip all the way to the back of the book where they keep all of their newer songs. In the back of the book, the American songs and Korean songs alternate pages. You just kind of have to be really good at skimming with your eyes to find them.

The rooms are spacious and can probably seat 10-15 people. The remote system takes a little getting used to, but it's really not hard. A few seconds of figuring things out and you'll be rocking and rolling in no time. It's also usually pretty quiet, so reservations are usually not necessary. I'd still recommend making a reservation on Friday nights and weekends though, just in case.

They serve complimentary snacks (pretzels, peanuts) and you can buy beer or their famous Soju drink, which is a Korean yogurt liquor. I'd recommend strawberry flavor. :)

Walked in and it was slow, so at first I was a little unsure.  We (me and my husband) asked the lady a the counter about pricing for the karaoke rooms.  She said they were $20 an hour.  Cool! a private room to sing in and skip the embarrassment of singing on stage but all the fun of singing karaoke.  We went in, the room was big and had a large couch which could seat 10 at least with a round table in the middle.  A song binder list with a fancy karaoke remote.  It took us like all over thirty seconds to figure it out (because the remote is in Korean) and we selected our first songs and went to town.  Fun night!  Great for big groups and so reasonably priced...why not?

The rooms are clean and they have a decent selection of songs.  The staff is really nice and they serve a yogurt soju that is awesome.

Had a whole lot of fun here tonight.

My boyfriend and I showed up around 8pm and only one of the rooms was occupied. I sang (poorly) for an hour, we had two drinks, and it ended up costing us $26. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the equipment is easy to use, and they had a decent selection of Japanese pop songs from the 70s through the 00s (I think I saw some 60s stuff but I'm not 100% sure). The book - or the Japanese section, at least - is organized by song title and not by artist, so a lot of the time was eaten up by my trying to find songs - but that's my fault.

Love the watermelon and strawberry soju! I came here last night and I have Ziller to thank for my oh so sexy "man-voice" today. Whether I go with a few friends or a huge crowd, Ziller always manages to create a fun night for us. You'll find this establishment in "Korea-town" and you won't be disappointed.

Ziller is clean, and has a wide selection of songs not to mention if you're hungry, they serve complimentary roasted nuts (almonds and peanuts). If you have a peanut allergy... well.. then bring an epipen or you'll be SOL. They have both private rooms and an open stage area where you can sing to your heart's content. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves to karaoke or bust out in song and dance. The price is usually split among my friends and I so I've never had to pay more than 12 dollars whenever I come here.

One of my favorite things to do is singing even though I'm terrible.  But that's why they invented karaoke!  You can be terrible, but the more your drink the better you THINK you sound.  I usually just hit up glitter or spotlight in town, but it's just getting WAY too crowded so I decided to make the journey OTL to K-town for some real karaoke.

I called ahead and the owners actually speak pretty decent english.  I asked to see if they had any private rooms and they said at that time they had a few open rooms and it was $20 an hr.  By the time I finally got there they had booked out all of their rooms =(

Lucky for us, they let us sing in the main room until a smaller room opened up.  The main room was really cool, bright lights, and all kinds of flashing stuff.  Felt like a rock star.

Once inside of one of the private rooms, the sound quality goes up.  They rooms are VERY clean.  The music selection is quite updated.  The book is a bit confusing but the newest songs are in the back.  They do serve soju (sp?) think of it kind of like sake.  I enjoyed it.

    Oh yeah, MORE TAMBOURINE!

One of my go to places to enjoy Karaoke close to city center. They have a good selection of songs with a couple different room sizes to accommodate different parties.

They are a little lagging in bringing new songs into the fold but a good and relatively cheap gathering for melody inspired folks (depending on alchohol consumption)

Just went here for the first time last night, and I have to say I had a great time!

I'd made my reservation for the room about a week prior by leaving a message - no confirmation, but no problems when I got there, either.

The room was for approx. 10, and wonderfully clean and supplied with a couple of song books (with English, Korean, and Japanese songs), a remote (all in Korean, but I've used one of them before and we never asked for instructions, so only a few minor hiccups), some tambourines (fun! :D), and a menu upon request (which had appetizers, entrees, and drinks). We didn't realize we had disco lights until the owner came in and turned them on for us, lol. (In my opinion, I wish the English song selection was better, just because there were some songs I wanted to sing that weren't available - how do you not have Bon Jovi's "Dead or Alive"?! - but we really had NO trouble having fun with the songs we did have. Still lot of classics AND new hits - like Adele - available.)

The woman waiting on us was very prompt and attentive, and we could call for her any time by using a call button inside the room. Prices were average (some of us spent about $12-18 on each menu item, imported beer is $5, domestics $3, bottled water $2; soju is $10, if I remember right). The room itself was $30/hr.

Paying out was only complicated because some members of our party left early and the owner couldn't split the check before we were done with the room. I wound up taking what they owed, but protip when dealing with large parties: remember to include TAX and TIP when figuring people's shares. The owner did add gratuity on our party (probably the standard 18% but I forgot to ask), so of course things wound up short. The only thing I wished for on the part of the owner, though, was an itemized bill for myself.

All in all, though, we all had a GREAT time, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a simple, straightforward karaoke night.

Myself and a group of around 24 people came here this weekend after being recommended by a friend. I had made a reservation for a bigger room to accommodate all of us. Their hourly rate is very affordable when you have more people. We were greeted and welcomed right away because of the reservation, which was easy enough to make by calling their number.

Our room was spacious and had a high ceiling - everything was clean and ready. All the equipment was well-cared for and easy enough to use. Plenty of people have fears of coming here and not understanding the remote control/how to navigate the Korean karaoke equipment, but the remote has English controls, so no need to worry! Don't let it being a Korean karaoke joint hinder you from coming here. I assure you in our large group of 25 people, no one could read Korean and we never had any problems. :)

They also have props like wigs and goofy hats for the people singing. The rooms have good enough air conditioning as well - this is important for large groups. They have a menu for beverages and some food also, which are very cheap. They even gave us some slices of watermelon for all the business we gave them. They were truly nice, and I was especially happy about it, because it felt like a true summer karaoke party with watermelon! If we were allowed to bring outside food and drinks, I think this place would have literally nothing else to improve on and would be absolutely perfect in my eyes!

The people who attended to us were nice (although we kept blocking the door by standing up to sing right by it = our fault!!!) and split up our total very easily. This honestly could have been a daunting process in terms of splitting our check, but they did it effortlessly. All in all, I could not be happier with this place and hope they keep up the good work!

The father/daughter service is really cute! (I'm assuming they're father and daughter) The girl was really nice when I booked my room and ahjussi walked in on me and my group singing Hyuna's "Bubble Pop" and thought it was the cutest thing ever and offered us drinks! The service is really friendly and time seems to pass incredibly fast. We payed for an hour but ended up staying for almost three!  The song choices were really up-to-date. I always look forward to coming :)

The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because it is all private room style and I like being on a stage (ahem, I'm rather ashamed of this insert... but that's what she said).

Each private room gets menu/drink service. I wouldn't call the selection fantastic, but at least it is something that they will do for you.

Now this is a Korean karaoke bar and I brought a bunch of non-Koreans the last time I went. They had a blast! They just needed a little help with the Korean remote.

This is probably one of my favorite Korean karaoke bars in Houston, they have wigs, hats and props for the theatrical, and friendly service. I have been and will continue to come back and again and again.

If you're looking for a good karaoke place this is a good option. This place appears to have opened recently, the interior was very clean and the furniture and decor looked new-ish. There were several private rooms and a semi-private room right by the entrance. At least private enough so that people walking in can't see you acting the fool and yelling the words to Justin Bieber's "Baby" (as it was the case when we walked in).

The song selection was good (at least the English songs) and pretty up-to-date. The system/remote was pretty easy to learn after a few minutes. All these Korean karaoke places have this scoring system but for some reason ours wasn't working and it always scored us as zero (hell maybe we were just that bad).

Not sure about drinks since we went right after dinner. For $20/hour this is a good deal and a great find.

Very clean, safe, and they keep their songs updated with the latest American pop, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian, ... lots of stuff.
They even have cameras in the room so the screen showing the words can have the background showing your room. (scary / rockstarish)
The food is pretty good too - late nite Korean fast foods.
There's a small stash of wigs, shades, neckties... anything  you want to accessorize with to get into character.
