  Pizza fundamentalists, they would be a lot better if they had also a normal type of pizza as an option but they put garlic and spiced on like everything... The best place to go in town in probably Popolanos don't fall for the great reviews truly my friend went here demanded for a refund they wouldn't give it.. Good people there though.

  I know pizza, this is some great pizza. You will not be disappointed in the least. Great crust, fresh toppings and not afraid to try something new. Ask for the Mac and cheese pizza, not on the menu yet, but if enought ask for it, I'm sure he will put it on

  When we walked into Zing and sat down, we almost decided to just place a carry-out order.  Reason being was that we were the only ones in there and it was completely quiet.  There is no "ambiance" here.
  
  I know you guys just opened and money is tight, but may I suggest some better lighting...even just some track lighting...and some music.  Its too quiet!!
  
  Some sort of decor is needed :)  
  
  BUT, the pizza really is fantastic!  It's a breath of fresh air from gels (good), vals (meh) or pizza hut (gross).  I like the option of a red or garlic/olive oil sauce.  The garlic/olive oil sauce we had was great, but I think it needed a little more or maybe just brush it over the crust right when it comes out of the oven.  There was a lot of crust showing and it was kinda dry once you ate the part that had the toppings on it.
  
  The Duneland was awesome.

  Good pizza, fast service, great options that you really don't get at other places. Pies are small, so keep that in mind when ordering,
  
  This isn't pizza hut, this is artisan style pizza and I applaud the owners for going out on limb with this one, especially in NWI. Keeping that in mind, prices are higher than AJ's, Gel's or Aurellio's. But that's ok, they aren't serving the same product.

  I've eaten from Zing Pizzeria twice now so far (once carry out, once dine in) and have been fairly impressed with their food!  The ingredients in their menu pizzas are pretty creative and gourmet-ish.  Just as an example, the meatball pizza includes ricotta cheese and cherry peppers( soooo good!!!).  The hoosier pizza includes mini potatoes and egg on top (just okay, but still very interesting)!  When you go in you can watch your pizza being made also; there is only a counter between the dining area and the kitchen, which is kind of neat.  Breadsticks are nothing to phone home about, but in general the dough/pizza crust is pretty good, not too thin and not too thick in the pizzas and baked to a good crispiness.
  
  Honestly I'm not fond of the decor.  It makes things look a lot cheaper  than it actually is... maybe they need more pictures or paintings up?  I can't even remember what was on the walls except a giant clock.  Just kinda plain.  Also another minus, they don't do delivery except for orders over $100 or something.  However, the quality of the food outweighs these things.
  
  Anyway, pretty good new pizza place in Chesterton!  I'm sure I'll be back.

  Lunch at Zing Pizzeria was fantastic.  I was amazed to find they offered more than just pizza.  The menu includes several different salads and sandwiches as well.  I choose the four cheese panini which was melt in your mouth delicious.  I am  looking forward to returning for lunch to try one of the salads offered.   And, of course, I will be bringing the entire family back for pizza.  A much needed addition to Chesterton.
