  We had a bridal shower at Zio's, they opened the restaurant early for us on a Sunday, the staff was amazing and did everything we planned with the event planner there, and catered to all our needs. If you are looking for a nice place to have a gathering Zio is a great spot! The food was great (we get the pizza take out a lot and it is amazing as well), the price can not be beat, and they did all the clean up. It was a nice day! :)

  Basically this place has fallen off. Bad food, slow service, and high prices. Whne an Itailian resturant needs to offer non itailian food, time to go. There are better choices......

  Once once upon Zios was great...10 years ago. Since then they have begun to skimp on portion and quality, and taste.Which is unfortunate due to the lack of great restaurants in the area

  Tried this restaurant for the first time last week. Waited for almost 10 minutes for someone to come to check us in.  We finally decided to eat at the bar, which was definitely crowded. The bartender finally noticed us and ask if we wanted menus, which we stated we did. She then proceeded to bring us menus and sprayed down the bar. Before I'd even finished my drink order she walked away. Now my friend is gluten free, and they have accommodated her in the past. She asked the bartender to check with the chef about gluten free side options, and the bartender said it was pointless, they had nothing. My friend asked for plain vegatables, and she agreed. I ordered the veal parm, and while the sauce was good, the veal was chewy and thick, and not really tender. I had to ask the bartender for cheese and she asked me if I still wanted bread, which I declined. My friend did enjoy her meal, but we both felt the bartender was lacking in service skills. We repeatedly had to flag her down but she was very attentive to the people in the bar she knew. Very disappointed in the service, food was okay, but not worth the price I paid.

  It's been a while, but I all I remember is that Zio's had the best microwave food and refrigerated salads in town.

  Nice looking place but the food was just OK.  Felt like restaurant chain Italian food.  which is odd for a small place
  
  Maybe it was an off night but don't think we'll be back as it's not close and if we're driving then it will be to Federal Hill or a better choice.

  When I first walked into Zio Paolo's I was shocked. First I was justifiably skeptical about a restaurant in a strip mall attached to an Ocean State Job Lot. Upon opening the door I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere.  Dark woods and big booths you almost thought you were in the city.  
  
  Service was excellent and food was fantastic. My Salmon was perfectly prepared and I have been back several times since. A friend of mine even had a birthday party here.
  
  Excellent diversification on the menu and all items ordered were prepared fresh.  The Risotto was a little salty in my opinion and I like salt so be careful.  
  
  I have heard that consistency at the establishment is coming into question which I hope is not true because it truely is a gem for those living in Metrowest.

  I've been here a few times. Their food is good, their selection is so-so, and their prices are decent. I have never had to wait. I'm sure there is better food out there, but it's pretty good.
