111 (on signage as "1-eleven") is a bit south on Santa Fe from Big Nose Kate's and Inferno. Â On weekend nights, a lot of younger folk seem to hop from these three bars, and it gets noticeably busy at about 11 pm until the 2 am weekend last call.
Of these three bars, I think 111 Ultra-Lounge is the most laid-back. It's also the smallest. It's not as loud as the Inferno dance club, although it does have trivia, live music and karaoke on some nights (which I enjoy--and no cover charge). It doesn't have the fleet of pool tables like Big Nose Kate's, nor does it have a noticeable hookup vibe like these nearby bars. It's a real pub, with pretzels and booths for conversation.
The beer selection is poor, they but appear to have a solid set of liquor.
The bar is co-owned by Jonathan and Tony Wong, who owns Martinelli's Little Italy across the street. The brothers bartend here. All of the staff is pleasant.
