When you walk in it seems like it takes forever for someone to notice that you are there waiting to be seated and it feels very awkward when you're not acknowledged. The 1st time I went, I seated myself and waited 15 minutes and no one came over to give me a menu, or take my order. The 2nd time my family and I waited to be seated and kept trying to flag down a server to seat us. Our wait for the food was really long, especially since it was empty. I do like how they have <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Frestaurant.com&s=c5fe485af4df376130bee54f875814d79c4d7913e1258123b1206d2bdbf4873b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://restaurant.com</a> coupons, I have one more to use, so I will give them another try.

I had to send my first dish back for lack of sauce/taste/meat. Disappointing, since I was looking forward to having it. (braised short rib pasta)
The owner was nice enough to give me a salad while I waited for my replacement dish.
Replacement dish was great, It was the chicken Marsala, well seasoned and tender chicken.
A rough start but good finish, sadly I dont yet feel the crazy urge to return.
Overall good customer service.
There were three of us. Two of the meals were good. However i ordered the taco salad with ground beef, and was served the taco salad with shredded beef. I sent it back and when the taco salad with ground beef was served it was not good. The refried beans were runny and soaked the rest of the salad. Seasoning was weak.
Review Source:Good food, decent prices. Â I've probably taken the family here 20 times in the last 2 years. Â Our favorite dishes are the Fajita Burrito, Seafood Burrito, 1st and 10 Pizza (awesome), I like the chili burger when I'm starving; it's nice and big and the chili is good.
When you walk in, just find a spot and sit down. Â They don't seat you.
Sometimes the service is spotty. Â Do not sit on the side without the bar. Â I always feel like I'm forgotten about unless it's really busy there. Â But when it's really busy, the service slows down anyway. Â They need to shorten that wall. Â When you go, look for a lady with long blonde hair, or a Hispanic with a mullet serving and sit in their area - those two are good. Â If the owner is working the bar, you'll probably get good service wherever. Â He's an older Caucasian fellow that works the bar. Â If you happen to have the big Hispanic guy with poor English as your server, I hope you aren't in a hurry.
Sorry to say that the quality has gone downhill under the new owners that have been operating the restaurant for about 18 months. Â The Mexican food and pizza used to be 5 stars - now 3 stars. Â It's sad because I really like to support an independent and locally owned restaurant. Â
The menu has expanded and the place is kept very clean. Â Still a pleasant place to go. Â Super large selection of beers on tap.
Great little place for Dayton. It would probably even do well in a bigger city. I went here twice in the past week for lunch since I was at a client's office down there. I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito once and the Chipolte Burger the other time.
The Carne Asada burrito was great. Almost as good as I would get from a Mexican restaurant. The green sauce was a bit off, but overall 4.5 stars.
The Chipolte burger was great!!! Not too spicy, but great flavor. The chipolte sauce is a mayo based sauce. Even though I liked it, some people might not. The only problem with this dish was the fries. I think they were cooked ahead of time and kept warm because they were soggy and mushy when they arrived at the table. The day that I ordered the burrito, my coworker got a burger and said he didnt have that problem. So, I'm thinking that I just wasn't too lucky.

I like this place, I went there recently and was happy to see the brother from La Posad Real' was the main man. !!!
Great food, huge room, LOTS of TV's ....... I was only feeling a burger, and it was great (chipotle something or other) It was not exactly cooked Med Rare like I asked, nor did anyone check on me after I got it
(pretty good idea when someone asks specific questions about cooking a certain way)
But the good news is the beef quality was high, so it was still plenty juicy. But obviously a frozen patty. But to be clear it was a good burger.
I am glad they are there and wish them well, when I'm in the area I will stop in.....
They had Arrogant Bastard on draft !!!! so I better find out where the hotel deals are, or consider putting a pillow and a blankie in the mighty 4Runner....
