I DIDN'T HAVE ESPRESSO -- so if you're jonesing for a caffeine-laden drink, this might be the place to go if you're in the area. It's a long haul to the nearest coffee joint.
I really wanted to like this place. But... it was just okay. I went with a group from work for someone's birthday. We had called in our orders the day before, but we still had to wait about 15 minutes for them to get them all together (there were 12 of us).
They did have a table set up for us. The decor was brightly colored walls with various Mexican pottery.
The chips were okay. The salsa a little too much like red enchilada sauce for my liking. The iced tea was okay.
My tuna melt on sourdough was okay. Nothing special, I should've asked for a slice of tomato. People liked the bisquits and gravy. Some talk of the 'mystery meat' in the carne asada burrito as being okay. Although I am suspicious of burritos with a diagonal slice of melted American cheese on top. People did like the yellow rice.
SOOOO, if I go again, I'll try the breakfast.
I was a little disappointed they were out of t-shirts. But I did see my guidance counselor from high school (I had been wondering if he was still alive).
