All I can say is the folks who give this place a good review must be starved for a really good place to eat. Â We have dined there many times. (The definition of insanity) Â The service is very good, the bar selection is very good, but the food needs more management attention paid to the product. Â The plates are cold, resulting in cold food. Â Tonight I ordered the pork chop entree. Â The potato was cold and I had to send it back. Â When my dinner was returned, I cut into the pork chop and it was raw in the middle. Â I took it back to the kitchen and the folks behind the line tried to makes excuses, saying the had a big house tonight. Â That's no excuse for putting out a bad product. Â They looked at me like I was crazy. Â
Oh we'll, I'll go back for the bar. Â I figure they think since they are the only game in town they don't have to strive to be excellent.
In terms of food quality this is as good as it gets in Siloam Springs. The appetizers are full of flavor. I recommend the hummus with bread or the deviled eggs topped with tantalisingly tasty flying fish roe. Â
The burgers are the best entree on the menu but if you're feeling daring go for something outside the box with choices such as the chicken fried steak or the half rotisserie chicken.
They have a full bar with a choice of at least 100 beers and wines. They were even able to make my favourite Australian drink Lemon, Lime and Bitters when I asked for it.
Sit at the bar, it has the best atmosphere, especially at night. Good service, great food and awesome set up. Really no other place to go around here.
An amazing restaurant to be added to NWA's fine but affordable dining and right in our own backyard! A great location, an extensive wine, beer and handcrafted drink list and a variety of Chef Miles James specially created & plated dishes to choose from just to start! The large dining area allows for quiet and intimate as well as seating for larger groups out for a good time or serious business. Seating at the open kitchen presents the ability to see everything from burgers, polenta stacks, sea bass or even pancakes for the kiddos being prepared in a sanitary environment. And last but definitely not least is the bar that is set apart just enough and offers its own unique experience with a variety of seating, a special glass for every drink and an array of beers on tap not to be rivaled.
A must try destination!
28 Springs manages to be upscale and laid back at the same time. Â The dining room is fastidiously clean and the bar shines. Â With an eclectic mix of specialty drinks and expansive collection of beers, the possibilities are endless. Â The waitstaff and bartenders are friendly and knowledgable and the food classy and well-presented. Â There's even Live entertainment on occasion. All in all, a reasonably priced and cool spot for the perfect "date" night.
