5 & 20 Country Kitchen

Unfortunately this is almost exclusively food brought in by a food distributor.  Don't be fooled by the bakery goods on the counter, they are brought in and are not on the menu.  Processed cheese on the sandwiches, boxed potatoes, canned cherries in the desert, etc.

The place was clean. The staff, nice. The food, so-so. You have to love white flour and sugar to really appreciate this place and, well, the area's food! For lunch, my husband and I split the 4 piece fried chicken dinner, only mashers for lunch (no baked) and added the soup and salad for $2. The chicken was pretty salty, not as crispy as we like it and the mashers tasted of margarine.  The meal came with a cold white dinner roll which we don't eat. The bill was $ 15 with tip. Like I said, if you're a white flour and sugar fan, you'll be pleased.
