The food is better than your average pub grub (and slightly pricier, too). Â I'm not certain whether the decor (lots of animal heads) is totally sincere or a touch ironic, but there's a homey, welcoming feel for the most part. Â Sandwiches and pastas abound, all of which are tasty and in abundant portions. Â Service can be a touch spotty, it's true, but mostly I've found waitstaff and bartenders to be friendly and prompt, if a touch scattered at times.
Review Source:We were seated outside for dinner. No waitress ever came to our table. I approached the bartender twice. The second time, she shook her head in disgust and did the work of waiting on us herself.
Once under the care of the bartender rather than the waitstaff, the food was good.
The filet mignon was not of the highest quality, but the sauce was tasty, the veggies nicely cooked.
In all, it was OK. Decent pub fare with nice outdoor seating. Just hope you get decent service (we did not until the bartender stepped up).
We were quoted a 30 minute wait, got some beers and sat in their gorgeous courtyard. We waited an hour, no biggie....we were enjoying the atmosphere and the company. BONUS: they had a fire going outside! Nice touch!
Once inside we ordered burgers and soup. We waited another hour, which seems unnecessary. I had the bison beget with jalapeno and pineapple. It was tasting and definitely filling.
Prices were decent.
They need to work on the efficiency. There are not many tables, so I see no reason for such a ling wait for burgers.
