6th Street Bar

The one place I can go during the holidays and find a couple of buddies from my days there to reminisce with.  Living in California now, I only make it back a couple of times a year, but this is always a stop for the familiar faces and live music.  Monroe actually has a thriving music scene and the popular acts frequent this joint.  

The patio is clutch, as the inside gets quite smoky.

One of Monroe's best venues for live music. They schedule bands up to 2 months at a time and regularly feature bands on fridays and saturdays, if not random acts during the weekdays. Perfect watering hole for the 25-35 crowd. Cover charge is never over $5 and drinks are reasonably priced. In the cooler months the outdoor patio is great for lounging under the stars and people watching. Local favorite Knucklestone plays frequently and is always a crowd pleaser. Check them out!
