They have a varied selection of craft beers. Their food is good; order the appetizer platter with everything on it, you won't be disappointed! First place in WI I had cheese curds! ha!

Went back on New Years Eve and had a blast with friends watching the live band. Great mix of people in the place- fun, energetic and friendly!

Maybe a little on the pricey side, but great atmosphere, very good food and draft beer selection.

I have to eat here every time I'm in town.  Mainly because they have one of the better beer selections you'll find, but also because their fried cheese curds are out of this world - fluffy, savory, cheesy, and with fantastic ranch dipping sauce.  It feels like a neighborhood bar and is a good place to watch a game or meet friends for a beverage.

Probably the largest painting of Neuschwanstein Castle I've ever seen.

Not quite sure what the castle has to do with the restaurant, but there it is!

Food was done well, very decent beer selection, and the service was very friendly. Our waitress was ever so nonchalant about how "special" it can be to work in the service industry sometimes and have to deal with complete idiots. I really appreciated that.

Spent the weekend in Sheboygan in July. We stopped here and should have made a repeat trip. Will be back again this weekend. We ate at the bar. Cheese curds were awesome. Beers were fabulous. Bartender was excellent.. Try the sampler so that you can get a taste of all the fresh, fabulous draft beers.

Great Place!  Eat at the bar. Was informed  the kitchen was back-up, had to wait, enjoyed one or two or three of the 30 beers on tap, then ask for my order and was served quiet quickly. Enjoyed the Cheese Curds, wish we had these in California, and the Creole dish was perfect! I wish I lived in Sheboygan just for 8th Street Ale Haus.

I wish this place was in Appleton! I have been trying to find a bar that serves beer other than the standards but I am failing. I found it in Sheboygan.

Food was excellent. Cheese curds were the best I've had. I had the pork schnitzel sandwich, perfectly cooked. Kraut was delicious too.

BF loved his food as well. Large portions, so be careful of ordering too much.

So you have here a place where you get:

    1. Family run business where they care about ya and get to know you.
    2. Bar atmosphere in one place or restaurant in the other, pick your poison.
    3. 30 beers on tap that change to keep it exciting
    4. Muggers. Club to belong to for discounts, events and free stuff.
    5. Excellent food and it's AFFORDABLE!

Lets just talk about that last point. You can come in with your buddies and play cards at the bar or you can come in with your kids and have a nice dinner in the restaurant. This place is so versatile. The menu has everything from salads and sammys to steak and it is all really, really good. Your average pretzel on a bar appetizer menu is typically nothing to rave over but here they have a jalapeno jack ones that come out piping hot and where do you get those anywhere else in town? The fries are seasoned with something addictive that makes you want to order a side of fries to go with the fries you get with your burger or portabella sandwich (which is awesome by the way). Even lighter fare items like a buffalo chicken salad (grilled) are done really well and with the fancy lettuce, Gorgonzola cheese and you are given a huge portion.

I would say the only downfall of this spot is that once you are in, it is very hard to leave. There is no excuse to come in for one and leave to go have dinner or something somewhere else so hours can go by very quickly once you walk through these doors!

You know how a bar can sway to the more pricey side  when they want to do upscale food or they can go the other direction and just fry everything and stay really inexpensive? 8th Street found the perfect balance!

Didn't care for this place at all.  Went here for lunch the other day and ordered up a burger with fries.  The bun was stale, the burger was dry, and there wasn't much in the flavor department either.  I actually deconstructed the burger and assembled it without the top piece of the bun.  All of this with a diet coke for $14 including tip.  Bartender was friendly enough and the beer selection looked amazing however I am not in the position to be drinking danky beers at 11:30 am on a Wednesday.  However if I was and I wasn't hungry this might be the first place I stop due to the amazing tap beer selection.  Work on your food a bit and you'll be in good shape..

Lots of beers to choose from.  Been there twice and both times the bartenders ignored me.  Good view of the football game if you get there early and sit in one of the six chairs in front of the tv; otherwise you are watching from an awkward angle or looking over the pool table.  Plenty of food selections.

Great beer selection, good crowd, fun bartenders. There is usually some type of beer/wine special which I appreciate too...

I think the dining area looks a bit sterile... and the lights in the bar are turned wayyy too high for being open late at night. It just kills the atmosphere a bit.

Great place to catch a game, too.

Great beer selection, excellent friendly staff,  had the shrimp creole tonight. While not a perfect-authentic creole it was very tasty, delicious I would say!  I will be back
