This is mostly a heads up for weary traveler like myself. My family and I found ourselves at a nearby hotel with not many food options around. It sounded like a good place. We would never find out, as we were turned away after entering at 8:45pm. Maybe their hours have changed and aren't reflected on the web, and they forgot to turn off the big lighted open sign in the front window. Do yourself a favor and call ahead before considering them, you may avoid a wasted trip.
Review Source:Love this place! Hubby and I go here as often as we can. They have a separate section away from the bar so we can take the kids. The wings are amazing! So are the fries. Every waitress we've had has been great. One visit stands out though - our daughter (2 years) was demonstrating her age the waitress was AMAZING. It was slow (since we have little ones we try to avoid peak hours). She got our baby smiling and giggling turning what could have been a disaster into a joy.
Review Source:3.5 stars. This pub is close to I-84 and was a welcome sight - fast food is nothing appetizing on long distance car trips. They have a large menu with sandwiches, burgers, and seafood. We all ordered burgers and fries which were good, but I was disappointed that my medium burger was cooked well done. They have a decent beer selection which is a plus. I wish it had been a Tuesday - they have all you can eat wings from 12 pm to 8 pm for only $8.99. FYI, the bathrooms are a bit weird and close to the restaurant tables and there is a large mirror that is visible while you are on the toilet....if you are into that?
Review Source:They have a breakfast buffet during the weekends which is nice and they always have plenty of parking since they do a lot of business with truckers. They also have the best wings in the area. Call about 30 minutes ahead to place any pickup orders since they are usually pretty busy in the evening.
Review Source:A quirky place indeed - with a plane stuck in the roof. Â It's not where the map has it - it's right off I-81 at Exit 116 and about 1/2 way between Newburgh, NY on I-84 and Baltimore, Md. off I-83. Â It's a great meeting place. Â The hamburgers - of which they have a choice of about 9, are great as are the home cut fries. Â The burgers aren't paddies, but ground beef on a sturdy soft bun. Â The deviled egg is a nice touch and the selection of good bottled soft drinks as well as fountain sodas is nice. Â It's a good place to stop and take a break if you are headed north or south on I-81 between Scranton and Harrisburg.
Review Source:Kitchy, but the food was good, with home made specialties like chicken pot pie and chicken and biscuits.
The french fries we house cut and you could tell, the waitress was sweet and she gave us separate checks for our party of 15, nice touch.
There is an airplane sticking out of this place, but we gave it a shot and it was A-OK.
