AAA Candlelight Inn

Long overdue review!  Hotel is under new management (owners), not the same as the previous review.  When I checked in, the manager gave me a key, and told me we would take care of the paperwork in the morning, (really, an actual key).  Then, the next morning, gave me several phone calls to remind me to remember to stop and pay before I left.  He didn't wake me though, as the smell of the mattress woke me immediately upon rolling on my stomach somewhere around 4AM.  Had I not enjoyed some of the local nightlife and great bands before checking in ( less than sober), I would have realized that this is a place I would not allow my dog to lay down in.  No breakfast, and the coffee was the same as the night before, just heated up.

This is more of a B&B than a motel.  The owners are very friendly and the rooms are all different and clean.  The breakfasts are amazing with freshly cooked eggs and bacon.  We stayed there because it was the only place that would transport us from the local airport to their establishment - in fact they loaned us a car.  Because of bad weather, we had to stay for three days and we had use of the car the whole time.  The downstairs pub is very handy and frequented by local patrons.
