Take my review as it should be taken...that of a good memory. Â My first job was as a waiter when I was 16 (14 years ago) at Acapulco. Â This is a family run restaurant with recipes passed down from family member to family member. Â My favorite thing about working here was not only the great family that took me in, but eating for FREE! Â I would probably be severely overweight if I inhaled the food today as I did as a young man with a good metabolism. Â Best salsa & seasoned ground beef I have had to this date. So many times in small towns you are subjected to whatever few options there are in town and miss out on great service and fantastic food. Â That my friend is not the case with Acapulco. Â You have a real gem in Ballinger and I hope you appreciate a good thing.
