Three of us walked in for dinner on a Saturday night. Â We were seated promptly and the service was excellent throughout the meal. Â The wine list isn't terribly extensive, but the selections are good.
Overall a delicious meal. Â The bread was warm and soft, and the plate of parmesan cheese, garlic and blue cheese butter spread served with it was excellent. Â We ordered chicken wings as an appetizer - this was my one compliant. Â The flavor was decent, but they were much too breaded. Â We didn't finish them.
For entrees we had a burger, chicken parmesan, and the open faced meatloaf sandwich. Â Everyone was pleased with their meal. Â The serving size for the chicken parm was HUGE - more than enough for another meal the next day. Â The burger was cooked properly (medium).
We would return; I recommend!
There is no better place to stop for dinner while traveling along the bizarre 3 lane Rt. 30 highway between York and Gettysburg than Lulu's Grill in the Atland House Inn. I have been stopping here for years and the food is always marvelous and the service first rate. Their French onion soup is the best I have tried across five continents of travel. Don't skip the desserts.
