Amis Mill Eatery

I ate on the covered porch and enjoyed fried green tomatoes and chicken and dumplings. It is hard to know where to stand when you go inside (no real hostess station) and because I was dining alone I think I threw them off. But after I was seated my waitress was very attentive.

Great food, service and atmosphere.

I really like going to this restaurant on a summer day for lunch. The food is okay, but the service and atmosphere is excellent. The owner is almost always there, treats you like you are a "regular", and personally checks on your meal status. I have sent food back to the kitchen to be warmed, but the service is always done with apparent pleasure
