Anahuac Dairy Queen

I'll give it 3.5-4 stars because all the times I have been there, the food has come in a timely manner, been good, and the restaurant is clean.  Nothing to completely blow me away, but this DQ is always a good option when in Anahuac.

"Deee-Q, That's what I like about Texas!"

The catchy, country wannabe tune featured in their Texas commercials will forever be embedded in my brain.

Anyways, this DQ is in the middle of nowhere, Anahuac, Texas.

With the number of workers they have and the total population of this small town, you would think they would be a lot faster then these city DQ's I have been to, but no.

I have been going to this location for years now and it has always been a wait. No matter what it is, you want a Blizzard, you want tacos, you want a Hunger Buster, you better sit your butt down and wait cause this is not fast food... (According to them it's "Fan Food not Fast Food" but c'mon, who are you guys kidding, its fast food.)

If you are willing to spare time, then by all means pick a spot and sit your butt down.

Their food is fatty and delicious. The workers are nice and smile but that doesn't excuse their slowness - but how can I be mad at them when they are nice and smile at me... Ugh!

That's why I continue to go back, pick a spot, and sit my butt down.

Oh, and of course for their famous, thick and creamy Blizzards.
