I went yesterday with the intent of ordering a breakfast burrito, but they are only served from 8-11 am. That was fine, so I ordered the 2 taco combo and an horchata instead. You got to pick what kind of meat you wanted for the tacos, so I picked al pastor (which I was quite surprised to find in a town of a 700 people). Anyway, the tacos al pastor were as good as any I've had before, and the rice and beans were OK (better with a few squirts of the generously provided hot sauce). The horchata had a bubblegum flavor which made me wonder what the heck was going on there.

This morning I set my alarm to make sure I'd have plenty of time for breakfast, and indeed I did. I ordered the sausage breakfast burrito (sausage, eggs, cheese, potatoes, and a little bit of refried beans), coffee, and a side of sour cream (which was quite large for 50 cents). A large cup of good coffee for $1.25 is a pretty darn good deal, and considering you won't find any other coffee for sale in Halsey outside of the grocery store, it's a keeper. I listened to everything being cooked over the wall, which is a nice reassurance that you're not getting anything microwaved. The burrito was huge, tasty, and HOT. I'd recommend chopping it in half with a knife if you don't have 5 minutes to let it cool off first.

Plus, the owner/cashier is super nice!

This is a great restaurant that I will always go out of my way to go too. I started going there when they first opened, since it was near my high school. I've seen them succeed as a small business over the past year. I will always go there when I'm in the mood for mexican food. My favorite dish to eat there is their Beef Tacos. They're so authentic and they have amazing flavor for only $1.50 each. Their large burritos are a great deal as well for only $5 you get a tight packed burrito that's about 3 inches wide by 8 inches long. This place is a great deal and I would love to see this place expand to opening another restaurant in a city so more people can experience this amazing little place in Halsey, Or.

Went here for lunch when I was really wanting some good Mexican food. The prices are soooo good on the wallet and the food is very authentic. $5.50 for chicken enchiladas, beans and rice with a drink! You just know when you found a place with true Mexican flavor. Muy delicioso! It's just a hop off the freeway in Halsey, look for a small restaurant near the flashing red light intersection that goes to hwy. 99.
