I found out something unique about the little fishing town of Hesperia, MI. They apparently love broasted food. Like...not broasted potatoes or chicken. I think they may have had about 8 different broasted items including one of the more expensive dishes: the broasted frog legs.

We try and visit this bar/restaurant at least once each time we're in town. $1.50 Miller High Life bottles are nice as well as the many other decent prices they have on crappy booze. My knocks on this place was that all of their food was basically meat flavored salt licks. My traveling companions bought into the salad bar deal and discovered the remains of what looked like second hand Big Boy salad bar dishes.

All in all, this place is a decent stop if you're passing through or heading out on a rafting/canoeing trip and happen to be in Hesperia. Just don't expect much.
