Review is for the restaurant only. Â Nice location and atmosphere overlooking the White River. Â Staff was friendly. Â Waitress was new and inexperienced, but did OK. Â The menu has all the staples you'd expect, catfish, chicken fried steak, burgers, shrimp, and quite a number of other items. Â Prices are on the up side of reasonable, but still within that range. Â
Catfish sandwich very good, served with tastless slaw. Â Salad bar/boat had standard items, all of which were fresh. Â Pricing a little confusing on the salad bar. Full all you can eat salad bar is $8.99. Â A one trip salad bar is $3.99. Â If you order an entree, then you may substitute your side (from a list of several) for one trip to salad bar for $2.99 extra, or you can order a "side salad" as your side, which is made in the kitchen and not from the goodies on the salad bar. Very odd pricing.
The meat was a little too fatty on a friend's French Dip, and she didn't eat much of it. Â Chicken Fried Steak was large, but my other friend left half of it on the plate, which is very unlike him, but he didn't comment on it.
I'll probably give it another try before passing final judgment on it.
