Always enjoy our trips to Antonio's.  The staff is great and the food is wonderful.  We frequently get carryout as well.  Great local place.

Ate here this past weekend. It was a beautiful restaurant! There was a lot of staff so I never sat without a refill! Definitely a plus. The odd part was I couldn't really tell what the ordering process was because we ordered our app but we couldn't figure out when they were going to take our order. We finally just told thm we were trying to order. But it would have been nice to order all at once because we ordered a pizza so it took a little bit. Pizza was great!

Place looks nice but the food was a major disappointment. The white wine pasta sauce didn't have any flavor at all, and penne pasta had been cooked way too long - nowhere near al dente.
However, pizzas looked good and people in our party liked them. So maybe this is a good pizza joint but not as good for enjoying other Italian meals.

Antonio's motto is "Where we feed you like family" -they should add "and treat you like family". 8 of us went to the Pitt - Notre Dame Football game and we stopped the night before the game - it was GREAT!. The owner Paul greeted us and made sure we tasted the signature pizza - the Italian Stallion. It is thick and layered, and very tasty. The toppings are slightly seared to bring out a great flavor. Ordered the pasta fritta with a great combination of sausage and peppers, the Alfredo, the margherita pizza and salads, and a sub. Everyone loved every plate. Perfect atmosphere and a nice bar too. We had to wait a little because it is full on Friday nights, but well worth the wait. If we ever go back to Elkhart, we have a standing reservation!!!!

This place is the real deal.  Family run, and real Italian, (not Eye-talian like so many are).  Like in the summer they put fresh herbs from their garden in the salads like they would in the old country.

They are famous for their pizza, even competed in Italy!  I like the simple stuff like chicken tortellini soup, or the house salad which has salami and good cheeses.

Get there early, or call for a reservation.  It gets really busy!

Great Italian spot! We started off with the stuffed mushrooms and they were tasty! My dad and brother split the pizza, I snagged a slice as well, it was very good. Super thin crust (the way to go) with plenty of toppings and cheese. I had the Chicken Scarpariello, and it was delicious. Although, adding more Ravioli would be nice ;) My mom had the sphaghetti and meatballs, and that was tasty as well. The only downfall was we received our meals before our salads. My mom just boxed hers to go and I had my alongside my meal, but it would have been nice to enjoy before the meal. Definitely check them out!

Wow has this place improved over the years! I will happily dine here for Italian any time. Food is good, service charming and I always leave content and full!

Order pizza with thin crust.  Standard crust is way too much dough.  Chicken Rosemary and veal Marsala are delicious.  Dessert is "eh" and service can be slow.  I look past that and consider this one of the best for Elkhart.

to everyone out there, don't listen to Vincent G on this restaurant. You can't judge this place if you've only been there once. it is amazing! I would recommend the four cheese spinach ravioli and the Rosemary pizza! I've gone there all throughout my life and it is so good!  go there. You won't regret it!

Very good stuffed pizza...service could be better and wine selection is poor.

Antonio's is great. To me it is an Elkhart institution. It's also one of the only Italian restaurants in Elkhart that hasn't moved into a strip mall. The pizzas are awesome here and remind me of what pizzas in the Tuscany region of Italy taste like. I've never had a bad meal here and the service is always good. They make you feel like family. Dinner can be a bit slow, but hey, that is the Italian pace. If you haven't tried Antonio's, it's worth a trip, even from South Bend.  Prices are competetive.  P.S. Try the Tony Russo Special

This review is based on one visit on a Saturday night.  The restaurant is a nice place with a good, dark atmosphere.  It is kind of loud (or at least was the night I was there) and not the place I'd go for an intimate dinner.  It was great, though, for me and a couple friends to go and enjoy conversation over dinner.

The food we had was very good.  As noted by an earlier reviewer, the Tony Russo pizza is a must.  If this was a pizza joint that served only that pizza I'd give it five stars.  We also had the arugula salad.  This was interesting in that it was a very good salad with lots of yummy goodies, but underwhelmed me as an arugula salad (that is, not as much arugula as I wanted).  Also, way too much dressing / oil.  (This became a theme.)  The waitress asked if we also wanted our dinner salads (I figured I was paying for it so why not).  This was basically just romaine lettuce with a couple cucumbers sitting in a lake of olive oil.  Way too much oil.

Did you notice I haven't mentioned bread?  That's because I had to ask for it at least three times, and it finally came after our entrees; it was very ordinary bread.  I had veal rosemary, which was wonderfully cooked and came in a slightly lemony and very rosemary-y cream sauce -- a delightful entree.  My friends had gnocchi was vodka sauce (rather good, but again, too much oil in the sauce) and lasagna.  The lasagna was good, but the sauce was perhaps a bit too bright.  After our plates were all cleared away the excess of oil was obvious because the table liner and cloth were soaked in it.  It was gross.

On the whole, the food here was rather good, especially my veal rosemary and the pizza.  Our service, though, was rather poor.  Things came in the wrong sequence, the bread issue, our server never checked on the entrees, and so forth.  Also, when our bills came they did not have our before dinner drinks on them and, deciding to be honest, we alerted the server.  She actually acted sort of irritated that we were making her do more work in altering the bills.  No thank you or anything.

I am willing to come here again and see if the service is better, but if it isn't I'll probably just stick to carry-out pizza and salad in the future.  Which is a shame, because that veal rosemary was so good.

Haven't had a bad meal here yet! Reasonable prices, good service, great food. They were very accomodating when we had a large group for a birthday party but had separate checks.

There's only one reason this place gets four stars: the Tony Russo Pizza.

The appetizer size is just $5.99 and is a wondrous and divine meal unto itself: olive oil, fresh basil and oregano, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, chicken, feta, and parmesan on the most delicious crust ever. I dream of this pizza. It's unnaturally good.

Service and atmosphere are nothing special; it can get a little crowded and the tables are kind of close together. The pasta is fairly pedestrian and the desserts are just okay. But go for the Tony Russo pizza and you'll thank me later.
