Apple Tree Restaurant

A hidden gem known to few and worth the effort!  Beside a gas station tucked away.  The best fried okra I have ever had in a restaurant.  Great entrees, affordable and home cooked!  Trip it!

No hours posted anywhere. The restaurant  is listed on the highway sign but not open for dinner on Sunday???? We don't decide easily on a place to eat when we are on the road so it was a huge disappointment to decide on this and find it closed.

We stopped on the way back Boone NC and walked in just before closing. The pork roast special was amazing and the Very berry cobbler was to die for! Thank you for the great service and dining experience...
