Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

Came for the lunch special. The food was good and I was pleased with the quick service and the lack of diversity among the staff and patrons.

We went in to this establishment on my fathers birthday. We were promptly seated and began checking out the menu to see what we want and, after choosing our preferred meals, we waited for a waiter or waitress to take our order. We waited for almost an hour, every table was served but ours, three waitresses went by and CLEANED the table across from us without a single glance in our direction. The table directly down the row from ours had their drinks refilled several times and the waiter didn't even walk towards us. We promptly left, but not before asking to see the manager, who was "unavailable", and nearly being seated for a SECOND time. I can't help but think that it has something to do with the fact that we were the only multi-racial family that we had yet seen in the entire city. Perhaps they only notice dark-skinned people when they are waiting to be seated.
