  For convenience sake, we ended up at Applebee's for lunch. It was one of those days where I was looking for a bunch of junk to eat, and got the appetizer sampler. (Don't worry, I didn't finish it all).
  
  It was a bit disappointing, even with not terribly high expectations.
  
  The spinach artichoke dip was watery, and the mini quesadillas might as well have been cardboard. The mozzarella sticks had an unexpected lime flavor and the chips were fresh. The boneless wings were the best part.
  
  My brother's fries were the most disappointing of all. Borderline cold.
  
  But the girl who wanted on us was really sweet.

  Decent chain restaurant, pretty much like the others. I've never been disappointed by the food or the service.
