Margaritas are decent, and consistent because they have the machine. Prices are good. They have a happy hour where a double huge one is under $5. I think regularly its $6 but since its so big it's a deal.

Bar food at happy hour is 1/2 off. I usually get the artichoke dip served with white (vs those disgusting colored ones) corn tortilla chips. The dip isn't the greatest it's not worst either and for under 5 the portion is a deal (there's enough for two people, but it's not gonna fill either of you up either.)

Wednesday night is Karaoke and the crowd reverses from mostly white during the other 6 days to black. That is their busiest NIGHT. The rest of days are the after work crowd. Sunday is always plenty busy after church.

There are plenty of TVs for sports. Plenty of seating. Bartenders are always pleasant as well as the waitstaff. I have never had a soda glass or drink go empty.

I ordered fajitas that were doable but no beans or cheese? I've had the grilled sirloin that was surprisingly good and cooked rare perfectly.

The absolutely worst restaurant let alone Applebee's I've ever eaten at. Slow, rude, distracted, small portions, poorly prepared and unprofessional. My wifes salad came with no chicken and afterward the chicken was dry. We waited at least 15 minutes for everything.  I will NEVER come back.

Save your money an save your time. I'm not sure why this Applesbees stays in business. I guess it shows the world how desperate Suffolk is for restaurants.

We have stopped eating here about 2 years ago and from time to time I think maybe Applebees has changed maybe they hired some waiters, maybe they started cooking all of their food not just their ribs.

Thank you to the post listed prior to mine because it allows me to see that NOTHING has changed.

We visited Applebee's in Suffolk last night for the second time in a month.  The first visit we were very unhappy but I feel as though every restaurant deserves a second chance, especially a big-name chain like this one.  Our visit last night confirmed our initial impression...

We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and were told there was a 5-10 minute wait.  I used the bathroom to find that there were many tables available but overheard the staff tell another waiting couple that the wait time to be seated was in order to allow the wait staff to "catch up".  We were seated 10 minutes later and had to wait another 10 minutes for drink orders.  We asked to immediately put in our food order since we had plenty of time to decide what we wanted.  Our drinks (water) were delivered about 5 minutes later and our appetizer followed a short time later.  The boneless wings were decent.  What followed was an hour-long wait for our food order.  Our waiter avoided our table probably because he was embarassed it was taking so long to feed us and wanted to avoid the situation rather than apologize or explain the delay; we were not the only table waiting although the restaurant was only half full.  Our food was finally delivered and it was very apparent that our food had been left under a heat lamp for far too long.  My rice was dry and hard.  My son's wings were left for so long that the buffalo sauce was no longer wet but dry; no mess when picking them up as the sauce was dry to the touch.  My wife's pasta was half moist and half dried to the point where you could break the pasta instead of cutting it.  Our waiter never checked on us and finally brought us more water after we had finished eating the little bit of food that was actually suitable to eat.  Overall it was a terrible experience and we spent 1 hr and 45 minutes of wasted time.

This experience mirrored our first visit to this Applebee's although the first visit our food was marginally better; service and wait time was the same.  I wished the table next to us luck in hopes that they would soon get their food as their wait time was up to over an hour and no food in sight.  Unfortunately we learned the hard way to avoid this Applebee's but I hope this review saves you both time and money when considering a meal here.  It's unfortunate because Applebee's is typically a decent choice for a fair meal; not true of this location though.  Avoid this place...

I'm not exactly sure what ass tastes like, however, this place here HAS to be about as close as you come without actually taking the plunge! How on earth can you screw up a freakin' burger unless you REALLY work on it, you know?? I mean, at least Burger King has the good sense to inject its burgers with that dubious 'char grilled' flavor!!

Okay, first let me state that I'm not a fan of Applebee's food in general.  This Applebee's did not help me change my mind.

I am always trying to find something I like and am willing to order other than chicken fingers and the fiesta (?) wrap.  I am always failing at this task.

This time, I ordered the tilapia dish.  It sounded good.  It arrived.  I began eating.  First bite, pleasantly surprised.  Second bite, texture seemed off.  Third bite, was raw - thankfully I looked before eating.  AARGH!

Having said that, my sister, brother in law & niece's food was evidently fine and the service was quick & friendly.  The only complaint is that I continue to have bad food experiences at every Applebee's.  I should probably learn my lesson & stick to the two things that have always been cooked correctly.
