Great craft brews on tap. Delicious food and very friendly service. Highly recommended for dinner or drinks

Not sure where to begun with this place...I guess the first thing to note I'd that it is not French nor is it a bistro....This is a pub with pizza and a few seemingly random entrees. It's cute and has a good selection of craft beer (maybe a dozen in tap).

None of those things are necessarily negatives, but here are a list of things that are not so good:

-- We made a reservation figuring that would expedite things...but upon arrival the hostess is having a drink at the bar and tells us to sit wherever (a symptom of the next point, no doubt)

-- menus were covered in someone else's food and the beer menu (a separate menu) was out of date.

-- two pizzas, two entrees, and 3 kids pastas took over an hour. It was Christmas vacation week but was not busy (on my first visit in the summer it was slow, too)

-- entrees were bland...and I swear included instant mashed potatoes (on a $21 entree). If it takes your kitchen an hour to make all this stuff why not just serve pizza? It's the only thing you are good at...

-- it was impossible to flag down our server to get a drink refill or the check....yet on our way out at least three people (again, sitting at the bar) say "thanks" and "have a good night"...so these staff members just sit on their butts while we struggle to get some attention??

Anyway, this place is off the beaten path, has mediocre food, and crappy service....Hope this place gets their stuff together or I can't imagine it will be around too long.

Try the beer flight and ask for recommendations. Service is quite slow, ambience is very very casual, and the food needs some work, but this place has potential. My fiance had a burger, which was good, my mushroom and leek pizza was pretty bad ... (if I hadn't of liked our server so much, I would have told him to suggest it be taken off of the menu) but the beer flight (and thoughtful recommendations from our server) made up for it.  The risotto everyone raves about is no longer served unfortunately.

I would not come here with a group, or with kids until they staff up a bit to speed up service.
