The Auburn Ale House

dont be fooled by the name Ale house, they appear to know nothing about beer.  the tap list is lacking at best, the beer had obviously been sitting for quite some time.  oxidized and stale.

the food was marginal and the staff was ok at best.  We tried this place and both times it was the same, I will not be back.

I am not impressed.

First, the place is messy.  Old Christmas decorations laying about, ugly dated mirrored wall with fish nets?  Even the front door was dirty.

The staff was hungover and lazy.  I hate bartenders who treat you like they are doing you a favor to serve you.  Then she questioned why I wanted the drink I wanted which was Jameson.  "How can you drink that? It's awful."  Classy.

Needless to day we will NEVER EVER be back and I bet this place closes soon.

To the owner:  Where are YOU when your place of business is open? Are you home on the sofa watching football ?  Do you care about running a successful business?  I suggest someone starts to care about this pathetic bar/restaurant.

An evening out at this establishment was interesting to say the least. The problem wasn't with my meal. But, my significant other had issues. First of all our waitress was friendly, but not very competent. We ordered an appetizer which the inside part of it was still frozen. They then replaced it with a more satisfactory one. When the meals came out mine was fine and once again hers was wrong. She had ordered one thing and was served something entirely different. The apologies from all three of the staff came. The meals also took 45 minutes and should have taken only 20. I only gave this an extra star because my meal was good but not hers.. We will not be going there again.
