Auld Dubliner Irish Pub and Restaurant

This rather authentic-feeling Irish bar was the scene of much merrymaking at a recent wedding weekend I attended.  Lots of Scotch to choose from, nice!  Notes on those:
- Bowman 18 (which I liked and reminded me of Johnny Black, but was too expensive)
- Talisker 10 (which I'd never had and found as smokey as Lagavulin or Laphroaig), - - Macallan 12, which was my favorite.  It tasted a little chocolatey or like maple - but also "fermented" - not like they just added the flavor.

Great for a beer and love the ambience of the place but the food is simply awful.  Ski resort pricing to go with over fried fish, dry up hamburger, and potato leek soup that was essentially instant potatoes in milk.  Won't be going back....ever.

Happy hour at this place was awesome!  Half off appetizers and beers made 10-15$ meals pretty cheap, especially when the appetizers were basically full meal size.  The service was great and the bartenders were very attentive.  I'll definitely make a point of stopping here after snowboarding if I'm back by Squaw again!
