Drive on by. Sad there is only one decent rest on the entire McKenzie Hwy, and it isnt Aunt Dings. Food is way too pricey , not very tasty, and the hours are unpredictable, no matter what the door says the staff often shut early. Beast thing about this place is the location, we tried it 4 times and it got worse every time.
Review Source:I was at Aunt Dings for mothers day and we had reservations because we were told that it would be very busy. When we got there at 7am there were 10people
Total of 3 tables with at least 30 empty. Anyways we ordered the full order of eggs
Benidict. Well we got half an order and left very hungry. We told the waitress of her mistake and she said that she could get us the other half of the order and we just said forget it. The eggs were good but the sauce was not good at all.We might give it another try. Because we've been here before and it was great and thats why we went back. But I just found out that they have a new cook since the last time we were there.
Got a "large" prime rib for New Years...it is less than six ounces, the potato is raw, and I am NOT happy! Have been a loyal customer for years, but no more. The owner's abusive nature toward her employees is shown each and every time I have ever been there...even picking up a to go order. No wonder the food has continuously gone down in quality since Tina's Lucky Logger became Aunt Ding's. Â Trust me, she's the one aunt whose food you don't want to eat. Â At least $90 per month I won't be spending at Dings...and will ensure my friends avoid the dump, also.
Review Source:This place was really good, and deserves better than some of the crummy reviews that it has gotten so far. My wife and I went here today and split a bunch of food...Cobb salad, chicken fried steak, and a Monte Cristo sandwich. The salad was quite good, plenty of blue cheese and in big enough chunks. The blue cheese dressing was housemade, also with decent chunkage. The chicken fried steak was fresh and tender, with a really tasty but not overpowering sausage gravy over it. The fries that came with it remained audibly crispy until the end of the meal. The Monte Cristo was really tasty, too, though it was served with strawberry jam (fine) and orange marmalade (strange). I was so hungry I ate it anyway, though I'm sure our nice waitress would have gladly brought some more strawberry. Most of the good Monte Cristos I've had have been double-decker sandwiches...meaning three slices of bread, but Aunt Ding's only had two. It was still really good, but I found myself wanting more.I'll be happy to come back here sometime soon.
Review Source:This place doesn't have very many reviews and for some reason the ones it does have are bad. I don't understand why. I think this place is delicious! I visit Oregon every summer and I make sure to eat at this place at least once every time. Granted, all I ever eat is the breakfast food. The pancakes are SO GOOD. My boyfriend always gets the steak and eggs and he raves about it. Personally, I think this place is worth stopping by. The employees are VERY friendly.
Review Source:On the way back from camping my husband I love to stop in this friendly, place to have home made buscuits and gravy. It's the only thing we have had there but, we thought it was delicious. The people were super friendly and the staff were attentive. I thought it was reasonably priced.
Review Source:We visited for the first time a week ago. Â We had breakfast and were delighted by the excellent service and well-priced menu. Â Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. Â They kept our glasses filled and made sure our food was piping hot. Â Four of us ate and we all agreed that it was excellent.
