I love what Robbie has done with this place. Â I grew up in this restaurant located in Byron, OK back when it was Tighe's Cafe owned by my mother, so eating here when I visit back home really brings back the memories. Â The biscuits with sausage gravy in the morning are delicious. Â Every day for lunch, there's a dinner special. Â During my visit last week, it was chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and vegetables. Â It was really good. Â Also, the place was absolutely packed with oil field hands so if you are going to eat lunch here, I recommend going in around 11 AM before the rush hits. Â Since it's the only place to eat in Byron, Oklahoma you can pretty much also plan on seeing old friends that you grew up with and neighbors while you are there.
