Good soup and sandwiches in a converted house/restaurant. Prices are a bit high, but the service is great, and in this town, there are only a few non fast food places.
They have a veggie sandwich, but I wouldn't recommend it, it has some kind of meat substitute, of which I hadn't had before.
But the grilled cheese, and fries are excellent, as is the tomato bisque soup, which is served up hot.
During my business trip, I was taken here for lunch. Â I had a taco salad. Â It's not a huge salad, however it was plenty. Â There wasn't a lot of lettuce in the tortilla bowl, but there was plenty of toppings as well as a small cup of salsa and another of sour cream. Â The BLT that my eating partner had looked good. Â
I heard this place has changed hands multiple times. Â But whoever it is now, they are nice people. Â I heard that the people here are the same as those at Hay J's.
Great space and solid menu. I had a cranberry and turkey sandwich that I really enjoyed. I would consider most items on their menu to be all-American, comfort food. They seem to have a very classic breakfast menu that they serve until 3pm.
Very helpful staff who didn't mind that we spent more than two hours there for a business luncheon.
I came here on the second day it opened and figured they would be working out the kinks and so I gave it another try. First time for breakfast second time for lunch. Service was good as the owner had served us both times(very friendly). Liberty Lake really needed a breakfast place. The building is really great, food was OK, not in a bad way but hard to get a 4 or 5 star for a breakfast.
