On my way from Pittsburgh, PA to San Francisco, CA, I made an overnight stop at Canistota, SD. The entire town is less than 1x1mile and is surrounded by corn. After spending a night in a curious motel/hotel/inn full of mennonites, I ventured out to have breakfast in one of the two eateries in town. Average scrambled eggs with cheese, an english muffin, hash browns and two sausage patties scorched to blackness with something gooey sticking to the bottom of one. Maybe next time I will go vegetarian here?
Don't let the name Pub fool you, these guys close at 10pm. As do the rest of businesses in this town, even gas station.
