Great food,go on Monday night, everything half price. The German dishes are very good.

We went in with my husband for lunch today.  I was very excited about this place,  having read so many great reviews.  I was sorely disappointed.  The place is clean,  the menu looked eclectic enough to be interesting,  I give you that.  But the food ended up passable at best.  My fish and chips was fresh,  but really hard.  My husband's Ruben was ok, but his strudel tasted like tobacco.  We looked for the rock fish,  but wasn't on the menu and we couldn't get any information as to when they would have it again from the host.  But really what ruined it for us was the rudeness of the host.  The restaurant was almost empty,  so no excuse for his behavior.  Abrupt barely does this man justice.  We tried to ask about specials,  the area,  the local catches,  barely got a grunt back from him.  Never volunteered anything,  barely slowed down to answer questions or drop our food.  Didn't say goodbye either.  We will definitely NOT be returning.

Right near Main St. in Rock Hall, we showed up around 2pm Sunday..  There was only a table outside and three guys at the bar, one of which was the owner.  We sat inside so I could watch the Skins game, and they were more than happy to oblige.  

The service was great even considering there were only two tables. The people were extremely friendly.  It was definitely a welcoming atmosphere.  The shrimp cocktail and the reuben were good and priced cheaply.  

My wife and I were sold so much with the area, the people and this restaurant that we are thinking about coming back for their Pirate festival in August.
