  So I was visiting the gorge for the first (but not last) time from Los Angeles and I had the good fortune to stop by the Beacon Rock Cafe for a burger and milkshake and it was one of the best meals I've had. Not to mention the hospitality and friendliness of everyone there made me feel right at home. I've already booked a return trip and I can't wait to come back for more

  Very convenient locale for hiking adventures in The Gorge, if your are passing through, or if you need a destination to go out away from the city for a bite.  Owners truly cared about my experience, and that made all the difference.  I will go back again in the future and offer it up as a suggestion to all my friends in the area.

  What a hidden gem! Its worth the trip just to sink your teeth into the best lamb burger I've ever had. Forget packing sandwiches for your next hike this place is a ten! We came with a large group and shared a wide variety of items on their menu (so far no complaints from any of them) and washed everything down with some delicious sangria while we sat outside and enjoyed the country vibe. Their chicken and steak kabob is very juicy and tasty and they are not cheap about the saffron rice. The snacks like the fried pickles, jalapeno poppers, and hummus were perfect for our lazy afternoon of drinking and eating. I did not get a chance to try the bacon milk shake or their breakfast items but I am definitely looking forward to going back very soon. If you don't live close by I recommend trying a few different menu items like we did and share. There is too much good stuff on the menu to miss if you don't make it out here often like us.
