I've been avoiding Beanie's every trip through Ruskin although I am not sure why. Finally pushed through the doors by a rainstorm one Sunday I was surprised by how much I liked this bar. The staff was real friendly, the regulars were pleasant and it was nice and clean. The food was decent but here comes the problem.  The beer.  Or actually the lack of a palatable beer. I don't expect everyplace to have Guinness or a specialty craft brew on tap, but come on, at least have Sam Adams people. i have trouble choking down the big brewery crap and let's face it, Inbev is evil. Still, this was a nice stop and I'd give it a 3 1/2 stars overall.

Had family in town and was looking for somewhere to just have a quick bite. As we pulled in, we realized Beanies was having a St Pattys Day celebration. Was a lot of fun! I just moved into my fiance's from Sarasota, and glad to find a little spot here without having to drive 30mins back South!

I just had lunch at Beanies...the food is fine but I have a complaint. I ordered a sandwich and asked for onions which I was charged 99 cents for. I hate being nickled and dimed for things that should be free & if you think this policy is fine than inform the customer. Will not be returning.

Went to Beanies for our first time last night.  The waitress was very nice and enthusiastic about the food.  I told her it was our first time there and she immediately went over all menu the highlights.
The loaded chips were good.  My wife had a burger which tasted like it would have been very good if they hadn't turned medium into well done.   The waitress did offer to send it back but we passed.  I had the Reuben.  That was great.  If you like Reubens then you need to try this one.
Will be back to try the wings and give the burger another shot.

We ordered over 150.00 worth of food today takeout.  I complained that the wings were dry, and that I had ordered them with mild sause. Granted 3 hours had gone by before I could sit down to eat, so the staff explained to me that the wings absorbed all the sause. I questioned why the foil the wings were sitting on was completely dry, and was told it too absorbed the sause! LOL. They only offered to pour more sause on them.   Needless to say I left them the wings.  If this is how they treat customers with this kind of tab, I can only imagine if you only buy a sandwich.

Been once as I was told they had the best burgers in town, they were pretty good however the second visit turned us off for good!  I will never be back!  We arrived and secured a high chair for my son who was just sitting on his own, only to have a waitress from another section literally take it from us when we turned our backs for a moment for a child who seemed to be plenty big enough to sit in a booster seat.  As hungry as we were we had a few choice words to say to them and walked out and have never been back, and never will, would have given no stars if it were an option

Good pub grub type food at a reasonable price, we enjoy the atmosphere! And they make a phenomenal bloody mary!

Great place to hang out with family and friends, to watch your favorite sport, or enjoy the privacy of the booths. Food is always delicious no matter what your taste buds are craving. My personal favorites are the wings, shrimp baguette sandwich, cuban sandwich, and homemade potato chips with any meal.

I can't believe we just found this place. A nice little sports bar in the ruskin area. Now that I've shared with other people the majority say they go there and the food is great.

One of the best Ruben sandwiches around. Other entries are good as well. Prices are very reasonable. Atmosphere is family friendly.

    Yay! I'm a fan.  :P

They offer Chicago-style eats and booths with little TVs in them to watch your favorite games.  Nice, friendly staff and super casual atmosphere.  One word that sums up the best part about Beanie's:  GIARDINERA!
