Bearcreek Farms serves a great buffet, has great live shows and has condos for people to spend the weekend.  Open nearly year round, BCF is a popular destination for weekend trips to" get away".  Usually the target group are retired folks, not alot of young twenty somethings, bars and riff raff.  The Bloomfield Village is a set of shops ranging from a bakery, candy shop and a clothing store.  The pace is slow and laid back.
The food is normal buffet style but better.  Real mashed potatoes w/the great brown and white gravy.  Wonderful fried chicken, fish, ham and roast.  A salad bar that has alot of items and dessert as well.
The Good Times Theater has live shows w/notable actors as well as live bands ranging from The Beatles to a local band names Spike and the Bulldogs. There are also traveling shows that perform.  Each show is worth the price of admission.  There's also a camping ground for travel trailers, picnic tables, showers etc.
I remember when the Strong family purchased the farmland and started building BF, not alot of locals were thrilled about the extra traffic, buses of out of towner's but this place is as much of Americana as Old Glory.  Watch out for Amish Buggies, sometimes they wont move out of the road and it may take awhile to have them yield right of way.
The only complaint is the fact that the pond area needs to be cleaned up and the bridge needs to be repaired.
You wont leave hungry, bored or disappointed.  A great place for a nice, relaxing day or weekend.  Great and friendly staff, excellent food and all the bells and whistles you would expect.  They have a website so google BCF and ENJOY.
