Beedle's Bar & Restaurant

Awesome place! Nice people, good drinks. Walleye fingers and tenderloin tips were fantastic. Sit at the bar for best experience.

We'd driven by so many times while visiting in the area.  The outside is very deceiving since it looks like a bar and grill type of place.  It's a nice place to get some good food!  The salad bar is great with everything looking and tasting fresh.  Everyone liked their meals.  They were much busier than they had planned but other servers helped out where needed and our server was very nice and apologetic about any delays.  We'll be back!

Well.... we went back.  Service was decent but it did take them a long time to get us a bottle of wine.  I made the mistake of ordering the prime rib.  It was horrible!  I ordered it rare, as a prime rib should be.  I got a gray, dry slab of... something.  It looked more like pork than beef.  My husband's filet looked pretty good and was cooked to the right doneness.  I don't know why they can't figure out the same for the prime rib.  I guess I'd go back again but would stay away from the prime rib.

LOVED this place. We were in the area to pick up our son from college at Winona State. We stayed in Trempeleau for a quiet getaway the night before we picked him up. Our hotel recommended this place - WHAT A FIND! Waitstaff were wonderful, food was AMAZING, full salad bar and fresh EVERYTHING. One of the best pieces was that the owner is apparently always on site. He was bartending that night. This is a true, old town Wisconsin Supper Club. The guy cares about his customers. The steaks were OUTSTANDING. The wine list is GREAT. After dinner we stayed for a quick drink in the welcoming bar area. The patrons were very friendly and the owner made sure we did not sit silently. Very engaging.
WILL BE BACK!!!!
