This place is pretty darn quaint. Â
The night we went they were out of a lot of stuff (who the heck runs out of BACON?! Â Is there no HEB in your cute little town?!) and put gobs of butter on my popcorn after I said no butter, but hey... there are worse things they could do. Â I'll give them another chance.
The seating is super comfy, the staff is very attentive and polite and the atmosphere is great. Â It's serve at your seat type of place - with a skating rink food type of menu (nachos, microwave pizzas, fried on the grill burgers). Â I look forward to coming again and trying some other things. Â
Comedy Open Mic night was our reason to attend and we had a pretty good time.
Back in Belton last night for another round of comedy at the Beltonian.
My date hadn't been before, so I acquainted her with their policies and it went off pretty smoothly.
The comic, Mr. Biggs, was definitely worth the trip.
I will give them five stars when they improve their menu, which as is, is sup-par for a comedy club. Â
When they acquire a liquor license, I'm sure they will increase their gate.
If you go, remember, keep your expectations in check and you'll be fine.
