Probably the quietest bar I've been to. Of course, that's an understatement because there's music playing and people talking. I concluded this by comparing it to all of the bars I've ever been to.
Must play the shuffleboard when you are here. It was my first time and it seemed to be a friend maker. Met some cool people and got to know some better.
This bar closed early when I was here, so thats the only downside. Prices were normal for a divey looking pub. Servers are pretty friendly and responsive. Overall, this place was good and I can see myself coming back here again
I went to Bert's for the first time on Monday. It showed about 2 pm and there were only a couple people there at that time. I was hungry so I ordered their peperjack mac and cheese which I had heard about.
it was delicious. A little spicey but it was good. It had chunks of bacon and julianned orange and yellow bell peppers. It also came with green beans and french bread(no butter). Now, I really dont care for green beans but there were awesome. I scarffed em down. They were coated in an oil or butter then and pieces of bacon throughout. They were fully cooked yet still had a nice snap to them.
I definitely will eat there again. Â I am not a beer drinker so I cannot comment on that but I know they also serve alcohol as I saw all the bottles in the back.
I went here a few times after a long days work when I was in town. Â Their food was pretty good, the selection of beer also good, and their knowledge of the scotchs and whiskeys was impressive. Â I gotta say, I was impressed with this as a chill spot after a long day of work. Â The other patrons there can be noisy on occasion which is to be expected at a pub and appreciated, people love to have a good time. Â Far enough away from the 'bad' side of town where it didn't really attract the 'bad crowd' which is also nice... yes, I'm stuck up like that. Â I think it deserves a 5 star, it's good marks on all it's aspects and wasn't lacking on anything really. Â Can't say I would improve so I gotta give em Props.
Review Source:As far as bar food goes I think its one of the best that I have tried yet in Yakima. The nachos are some of the best I have ever had, very unique. For being a pub the beer selection could be better. That is the reason I am giving it 3 stars instead of 4. The atmosphere is fun and a good dart section for the dart lovers.
Review Source:It's the place I want to hate b/c it's in a basement and the strip mall feeling to the building sucks but service is good, food ain't bad, beer is par, and I get to watch the Pats beat up on the Jets nearly 3000 miles from home turf.
Nothing has really changed but I frequent the place a whole lot more now. Tues and Thurs night mug nights are nice.... Â good stuff and that reminds me that I drink way too much!
This is one of the newer bars and it seems very popular, but why- I couldn't tell you. Â The weekends are very busy and most of the bartenders act as if they are above helping you (Because they work at a bar in a strip mall). Â The clientele they have is mostly people who still dream about their high school days, get drunk and stare at you as if they either want to fight you or make sweet love to you. Â
Basically this is just Jackson's w/o dancing and a different name.
My friend Ashley told me I had to try the shrimp tacos here because they were delicious. She was right!
The shrimp tacos, as I remember them from two years ago, we battered in a honey somethingrather and had mango salsa in them. Delicious. The service is friendly. I came here on a lunch break once from my horrible job and the waitress brightened my day. I would've felt awkward sitting there by myself if it weren't for this waitress.
I'm drooling just thinking about those damn shrimp tacos.
