Best Fried Chicken

Decided to stop here for lunch on our way through the town. I'm glad we did. The breading was wonderfully crispy and the chicken meat well seasoned. The sides were definitely not Reser's. Great slaw and the mashed potatoes and gravy were real and delicious. A good homey meal to break up the monotony of chain restaurants if you're passing through on a road trip.

Typical fast food chicken joint. Food was good, excellent chicken livers. Avoid this place at lunch time for the local high school, as there is very limited seating.

What a treat to find great chicken in this small town....the left over pieces were equally as good cold which says much for fried chicken.
