Those afraid of the old Big Apple Bar should give a chance to the renamed Rigger's. Â While the Big Apple was near and dear to me from childhood, it definitely went downhill over the years. Â New owners cleaned the place up and changed the name. Â At first I was skeptical but now that I've been there a good half dozen times I can say that I'm a big fan of Rigger's. Â With little to no eating options in Arcadia, it's nice to have a quality and consistent place back again. Â As I mentioned before, the place is now clean which is nice. Â Good local beer and wine with a standard "up north bar food" menu. Â So far I've had a burger, pizza and the baked spaghetti and all are good. Â Last time I saw the perch special being served and it looked pretty tasty, probably will try that next time. Â Also saw a lot of people coming in to pick up take out pizzas so that seems to be an option. Â The surprise of the menu to me is the baked spaghetti. Â Me and the girlfriend have both had it several times and it is outstanding. Â Pasta is cooked well, a nice sauce with sausage and cheese baked on top. Â Prices are good, the place is big and friendly with nice service. Â Dinner in Arcadia is back!
Review Source:This place is legendary. LEGENDARY. Â The beer is cheap, there's a pool table, karaoke, digital jukebox, and they're always on the brink of closing down because not enough people come and give them business. Â Thanks to the campers and staff of Camp Arcadia (as well as the Arcadia Daze), this place manages to stay open.
