Big Dawgs Bar and Grill

Good food, but you will smell like a cigarette when you leave. I loved coming here when I was younger and could sit on the restaurant side, but my last experience sucked. It took forever to get served, and once I did, I'm pretty sure the waitress lost our ticket, because it took at least an hour for food.

They do have really good burgers, just make sure you go during lunch or early dinner hours if you want to eat and have a good time.

The food is pretty good, that's the only reason I didn't give this place 2 or even 1 star.  If you're going to make a stop here, do so during lunch/dinner hours.  The night time crowd is sketchy and there is drama pretty often.  I grew up in Ellwood and never even consider this in my options of bars to meet my friends at.

I had the "luck" of going to BigDawgs one Saturday evening when I was in town visiting.  I was told there weren't many local places to go...we had been to a few however, all of which were better than BigDawgs.

It was quite dirty inside and I didn't feel comfortable at all.  
In fact, I felt like I had to "watch my back".  It was VERY smokey and I smelled like a chimney when I left.  The service was slow.  The only good thing about this place was that it was cheap.  

But I would have rather paid more and been somewhere else.
