Mr. Bigg's is a bit of a mixed bag. In an nutshell, I would recommend their pizza, but not much else.
About a year ago, my wife and I got a coupon to go here, and we decided to dine in to get a feel for the place. Thinking we could get pizza another time when we needed something quick, we both got pasta dishes and shared an appetizer (I think cheese sticks). After a few bites, we were both struck by how processed/packaged the food tasted. I was only half-joking when I asked her if she thought they got their entrees in the frozen food section of Sam's. Nothing about it was terrible, but it certainly wasn't as good as I expected from a local joint. The service was just OK: our food got out relatively quickly, but we never got drink refills and had to wait a long time after we finished before our waitress returned with our check.
Now for the other side: we stayed away from Mr. Bigg's after our first experience, but found ourselves with another coupon a few months ago. We decided to pick up a pizza and take it home this time. To our surprise, it was delicious: the thin crust was crispy, the sauce didn't taste like it was out of a can, and the toppings were fresh. It was good enough to remind us of Imo's pizza, which we both really like. We have since gone back a few times to carry out pizza again.
The prices are a little high across the menu, and I would not recommend any of the pastas, but the pizza is worth trying. I want to give their pizza four stars and their pasta two, so I met in the middle for the overall score.
